One・Two・Three/ The Matenrou Show Review

I know Aika graduated a while ago (Although sometimes I forget that Morning Musume is not the group it once was back in 2007), I just want to say that I hope she does something soon. Like a stage play or something else *cough* solo single *cough*. Oh and btw I’ve already done a few Aika appreciation posts before and I think that is enough which is why I didn't blog at the announcement of her graduation as someone asked me XD. I am still a forever Aika fan!

I have received my copies of ‘One Two Three!’ by the gorgeous Morning Musume And ‘Pera Pera Perao’ by AKB48’s best sub group ‘Not Yet’.  I have listened to all the B-sides but not for about 2 weeks. I only feel like blogging about 'One Two Three' atm.

One Two Three

I love the dance shot because Ayumi ROCKS the dance. Queen of the Juukies!

The MV is meh. Too many sparkles and it just looks kind of cheapish If I’m honest. It’s not showing something that we haven’t seen before.

In terms of the song I actually love it. It’s infectious. I think the Reina-Riho lead works well and the Sayu/Mizuki parts make everything really nice, not to mention that Eripon gets a ‘Ru’ line which literally made me jump up when I heard it was her.

Ignoring all these, the best parts are the incredibly sexy and super cool Reina whisper parts in the middle. This is why people should stop complaining about who leads. THEY LEAD BECAUSE THEY’RE AWESOME. Can you imagine where Morning Musume would be without strong leads such as Nacchi, Miki, Ai, Risa, Reina, Eri and Riho? No you can't. There would be no Momusu for Momusu would not be popular. 

Riho is not the best person to sing the ‘Woahhhhhs!’ bits but hopefully she will improve. (Hehe, Ri-hope).

This is a good song and there are some amazing bits. (Side note: Aika, and Gaki I suppose, would have looked AMAZING in these outfits. ><

The Matenrou Show

I LOVE THIS SONG.

 It sounds a lot like ‘Kono Chikyuu’, especially the middle parts where Reina sings her solo ‘Aaa, Ai ni oboretai…’ It’s just like when Aichan sang ‘Saa yuke mirai wa…’ in Kono chikyuu. It gives you the shivers. Honestly, I like this song far more than Kono Chikyuu. There’s something about it that makes me happy and …makes me want to dance! If Aichan had been in it I think it would have been perfect.

It’s true that no one gets solos but Reina and Riho (Sayu gets some double lines) but all of the group lines are really nicely put together and genuinely just…pretty sounding. Riho sounded better here than she did in ‘One Two Three’. Reina sounded pretty much as flawless as always. I can’t wait for her rock band! This is the kind of music that I love. Will we get an MV? Please lord.

Watashi no Jidai

Again, I’m sorry if I annoy you by saying this, but Reina’s voice has never sounded better as Tsunku mentioned earlier this year if I’m right.  She can’t graduate yet. Neither can Sayu.

The intro sounds really Mario cart-ish, or actually the whole instrumental.  When I listened to it a few weeks back I thought it sounded like a boring Anime song but I’ve changed my mind. It’s totally cute and I’ll make sure to come back and listen to it ^^

There’s not much else to say except that you can really hear the girls’ charm in this song somehow. You can feel their character =D

Aisaretai no ni

The first thing that I noticed was…Kanon opening line! I like it!

The whispers are really nice too! Perhaps I didn’t listen as thoroughly as I thought I did Haha. I don’t remember this at all ^^’ I don’t understand how it sounds like ‘Ooki hitomi’ though. It sounds like a mixture of many of the recent B-sides. I can tell this is a melody that I might forget easily, but then again might find myself humming while walking down the road.

The part in the middle with the instrumental sounds really familiar, maybe like ‘Namida Iro’ or something.  I’m not sure at the moment.

(Side note:  Eripon sounded so nice \o/)

Seishun Domanaka!

As soon as the song started I got the image of little ducks walking through a wood with umbrellas XD 

It’s a cute song as it would be since they are the kouhais of the group (Edit: not for long.  Shit I forgot about the 11ki audition. We need news of that).

 I’m glad I can differentiate the 10ki’s voices well now. I think it comes easily when you know their speaking voices which is why I tried hard and watched all of the ‘One Two Three’ TV performances and promotional events that were available. They speak a lot now.

My current Morning Musume Ranking

My top 3 Morning Musumes of all time are Mitsui Aika, Takahashi Ai and Ikuta Erina. This is my CURRENT ranking. MORNING MUSUME WILL FOREVER BE AWESOME. REMEMBER THAT.

1. Ikuta Erina

Eripon is the cutest member of Morning Musume for me. (Besides Sayu of course...Sayu is inhumanely cute I mean asdfghjkl;) She's hilarious and for any of you who didn't watch Oha-Suta; GO AND DO IT NOW. It's fantastic and all 3 girls had a great friendship which was lovely. Eripon was initially very disliked by me, but now I absolute adore her. I didn't think i'd find any of the newer musumes more interesting than the nine-smile girls but somehow I did. She's a Gaki fan girl which is also cute <3

2. Michishige Sayumi

Sayumin isn't really just cute. She's sexy too! She can also sing well which people don't give her credit for. Atleast she can sing in tune. Many people can't even do that. She also has such an interesting personality if you watch her in various realisty shows such as that one time she was on London hearts. Funniest. thing. ever. Like Eripon, I initially disliked Sayu for her narcissistic character. 

3. Tanaka Reina

Reina and Sayu are the last nine smile girls. That is weird enough to type let alone say outloud. Anyway, I think Reina deserves every one of the lines that she gets. Being an idol is more about the lines that you get in songs. I learnt that from Aika :3

4. Ishida Ayumi

I find Ayumin a lot like Eripon but with less personality. I love her expressions while she performs, although many say that they don't like her smile and don't think she's pretty at all. She's H!P shortest member which is also pretty cool =) 

5. Fukumura Mizuki

Hide yo' kids and hide yo' wife! Mizuki the H!P wota is coming! Mizuki will one day have an aweosome Aichan-like voice. MARK MY WORDS. She's basically Sasshiko but bustier. Dem Fukuboobs and Fukuthighs are to actually die for.

6. Sayashi Riho

I know what you're thinking Riho. When did you get so high up on my ranking?! Well, if Gaki and Aika were still in MM you'd be 8th, remember that. I Like Riho a lot <3 Ayumi, Riho, Haruna and Mizuki are pretty equal if I think about it. Anyway, Riho is talented and she is doing well to bring Morning Musume back into the public eye.

7. Iikubo Haruna

My love for Harunyan hasn't gone down, my love for others has gone up. I still think she's one of the prettiest members that MoMusu has ever had. Her bashfulness and love for Morning Musumeare adorable and I can see her growing into a fine idol~

8. Suzuki Kanon

So many Aika fans are Kanon fans because she really admires her. I liked her a lot more after finding out that she was an Aika fan <3 She's really funny (not generally my kind of funny, but still at times extremely funny) and I think she has a strong voice. People who call her fat are just annoying. A fat person is FAT. As you can see her, she can show her belly and flaunt it. Show 'em what you got guuuuuurl.

9. Satou Masaki

Aww Masaki. The girl that everyone initially hated for knowing nothing about Morning Musume. She's come a long way. Aren't idols supposed to be anyone? I'm sure her mother's proud. She can sing and dance well =D

10. Kudo Haruka

Although I initially (how many times have I used that word?) found her boring, I find her really entertaining XD Especially when she cries from being scared of ghosts. Her new hair cut looks lovely.

I'm really glad that I like all of the current Morning Musume a lot. Their new single performed live (only one of the A-sides...1.2.3) is amazing!

My favourite Voices in Hello! Project

1. Takahashi Ai


Aichan has the most angelic and intoxicating voice. It's beautiful.


2. Suzuki Airi


Airi has never ever failed to hit that note. The star of H!P kids.


3. Tanaka Reina


How can you say 'Reina sings too much'. No. Reina should still get lots of lines. She can really sing. That is why she leads. I have said I wished others would get lines like Eripon or Aika, but popularity I guess. Eripon and Aika aren't amazing singers at all really. but I do love their voices and I'll just wait for an album. (Although I can only listen to past albums for Aika's voice).


4. Niigaki Risa


I like Gaki's voice. :)


5. Sugaya Risako


I used to think Risako's voice was really horse and horrible but I actually realised that I only really like the parts in Berryz songs when she hits a really amazing note.


6. LinLin & Iida Kaori


Ah LinLin. She had the Jazz voice going on yo. I don't understand how Tsunku can be looking for an 'Uta hime' ('singing princes') now for the 11th gen when he had one a while ago. Kaorin was similar. I think I heard somewhere that she was the original lead for 'Morning Coffee'. I wouldn't quote me though.


7. Kamei Eri


Sometimes she sounds whiny, especially when she sings high notes but I like her voice a lot.


8. Natsuyaki Miyabi


Miya can sound like Yurina at times. When she doesn't = When she sounds good. I remember when Yurina was my favourite in Berryz. Although, everyone in Berryz and C-ute was once my favourite when i was a crazy new fangirl.


9. Fukumura Mizuki


Mizuki WILL have an Aichan voice. I'm waiting for her to be the star. She sounds just like Aichan did in early singles. I'm so ready for her to shine.


10. Tsugunaga Momoko


Buono! was just a group with good vocals. It's why they should release a new single now!


11. Fujimoto Miki


Her voice was the only interesting this really. besides that wacko husband of her xD


12. Yaguchi Mari


Marripe vocals \o/


13. Sayashi Riho


I do think that It's okay to complain about Riho's centre-push because she's not very vocally talented. Compared to Everyone but Reina and Riho she is though I guess, which is why I stopped cmplaing. I like her a lot, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't like her voice. It's nice when she doesn't sing high notes.


14. Nakajima Saki. 


'Kyou wa Zenbu wasureru yo' - Dance de bakoon is one of my favourite lines in any H!P song and is the reason I love Nakky's voice so much <3


15. Fukuda Kanon


Kanyon suddenly got better at singing when Yuuka left :o I don't like Meimi's voice and Takechan and Yuuka are pretty much just as good as Kanyon.

Mitsui Aika is Graduating Morning Musume

Oh God. WHY did this have to happen?


This quote from Tumblr sums everything up...

“Aika needs to graduate? ok, let’s bung her in with one of the most anticipated graduations of all time and let her simmer in the background like she isn’t important” 

This so much =( I atleast hope she gets a solo performance of her solo song because it really is the best solo ever and is great for wotagei. It's always amazing watching it. 


Now this gives me a reason to buy the DVD...I was going to buy it like...with the next concert tour. It doesn't seem thaaat important even though Gaki-san is in the higher half of my MoMusu ranking for the time being. For about 15 minutes my mind went blank and now I'm just quite angry. Aika is so, so special. 


Why does it have to happen like this? Fair enough she's going to stay in H!P but they're not exactly going to make he a solo singer because she lacks vocals and popularity. Also the main issue is of course her health, but to be honest I was happy with Aika being the MC. 


It kind of makes sense since apparently all of this was decided in April that she was really ignored in Renai Hunter. 


I'm feeling really down right now and have been saying 'FFS' a lot but I think I'll calm now.

Who Will Graduate next?

Who'll graduate next? Aika, Sayu or Reina? I'm really curious to see who will.

First off there's the lovely Mitsui Aika ^_^ She's currenty my Favourite Musume along with Eripon. Many people say Aika should graduate and that makes me so sad. She's injured, but as long as She and Tsuku think she's okay, I think she is :D Let's see...


Reasons for graduating:


1. Injury - Although she is recovering, she has week bones.
2. Lack of popularity


Reasons for not graduating:


1. I don't want her too D:
2. The age gap in MoMusu would widen between Haruna (17) and Reina and Sayumi (22).  Aika is  19 so she's in the middle and makes everything less awkward.

 

Sayu and Reina are other Musumes I'd never want to graduate. Like Aika, they are part of the 9-nin line up (nine smile) that I first loved. (Although Miki + Yossie without JunLin Momusu was my first line up). 

Reasons to graduate:

1. They're 22 and might be looking to go onto bigger things and start relationships in life.

Reasons not to graduate:

1. Besides Riho and a few others they bring out the Majority of sales now that Aichan and Gaki are leaving. 

2. They (Mainly Reina) are main vocalists and characters in the group.

So Which one next?

If a 9ki or 10ki doesn't pull a Sakichii (=[ I miss you Sakichii) and decide she doesn't want to be an Idol (A perfectly reasonable decision, it's her choice and it can be stressful) or get involved in a scandal (Maybe Mizuki or Haruna) then one or two of these girls should graduate next. 

I can see it being Aika because they might want to push the 'Last of the 6th generation' thing and make a lot of money.

I can see it being Reina/Sayu next so that they treat Aika as an older senpai and keep her on the sideline so they can focus on rebuilding the new young Morning Musume.

I can't see Reina or Sayu graduating with Aika next because it would be so odd like JunLunEri. The graduation was so Eri focused and I think Aika would be cut off. A Reina/Sayu graduation would be fair and more likely because of their bond.

I can't see a separate Reina or Sayu graduation because then there would be a graduation of a senpai in 2013, 2014 and 2015 which is too long (even though I hate to say it). The girls ought to be leaving soon. One single and one double graduation.

I really can't decide on who it'll probably be, but I see a Reina/Sayu graduation. It could be before or After Aika's graduation.

SHINee 'Sherlock' + Big Bang 'Fantastic Baby' + Arashi 'Wild at Heart'

WOW. FANTASTIC BABY.

This is so cool! The plot's pretty simple (Fighting people who hate music :p) But it's just so awesome oWo. The best parts are the 'Wow Fantastic baby' parts and the rapping and the Daesung and Taeyang vocals...so that's basically the whole song XD BLUE HAIRED T.O.P! 

This is way better than 'Bad Boy' and is just a cool club song. There's so much going on. Chains, sparks, shirtless guys, cars O____O  The only bad part is that there's a huge lack of Seungri. Seungri, Daesung and Taeyang are the strong vocalists, so he should have been a part instead of rapping like in 'Beautiful Hangover'

It's been so long since Arashi have released a song! This MV is great from the Disco parts, glitter, and other parts that are like 'Troublemaker' and 'Believe'. It's really funny at parts, especially Nino who is surprisingly funny when put into a smallish box with 4 other guys. Everyone gets a line. (Nino's is the best) :3

All of H!P's newest singles!

These are all so late XD Here's Berryz', C-utes's, Mano's, S/mileage's and Morning Musume's newest singles. (Although MoMusu and S/mileage are about to release their next ones XD)


1. Berryz工房 『Be 元気 (成せば成るっ!)』

Good: This is the best release like...since...ages =D Great song and an amazing MV!  This is wat Berryz needed! The concept and location is fantastic with many great shots. The dance is definitely the best! I think this song deserves to sell 20k, so I hope that they can pull in some fans :) Also, this song has a Miya-Rii lead which I'm always for. Captain is also adorable :3

Bad: Momo's hair ruins the mood and Risako sort of looks like she has a shaved head XD Not exactly deal breakers though. I am absolutely ecstatic about this song and release!  *fingers crossed*


2. ℃-ute 『君は自転車 私は電車で帰宅』

Good: The outfits are great. The song is really soothing, but being myself I honestly don't like Ballads at all. The MV features Airi walking around with some guy, but the others will get their own version, so I'm not bothered. Airi is beautiful and I can't help but sort of want a solo performance of her singing this song ^_^


Bad: I don't like the English lyrics very much. They seem sort of pointless. The dance looks like their floating and I don't like that. I understand that they were trying to create some sort of effect but I don't feel it worked. Also, why don't we see they guys face? I just find it odd.

3. モーニング娘。『ピョコピョコ ウルトラ』

Good: I love this song! I sing it all the time =) I really love the chicken outfits, it's just so...cute! ♥ Sayumi is just so adorable. This is the Juukies first single and everyone gets a line just like in MDKS (Another awesome, Genki song). Aika is also we incorporated into the video considering she wasn't in the dance =D


Bad: The projector thing didn't work out too well and looks bad. This is also, sadly, MoMusu's lowest selling single yet ...3:


4. スマイレージ 『チョトマテクダサイ！

Good: A cute, catchy song with everyone with lines! The MV is really cute, with lots of jumping around! They also do this cute thing with Kananan in the dance shot where she's a bit behind the others to show how much she's improved x3 I think is so cute! Wait...I said cute quite a few times there lol. I actually like the falsetto. "Chotto matte kudasai JAN!"


Bad: I don't like the little picture things where lots of them are on screen and it changes like a flip book. Did I describe that right? Also, Meimi is weird in this somehow. 


4.  真野恵里菜『ドキドキベイビー』/ 真野恵里菜 『黄昏交差点

Good: Manochan; in Akihabara! There's so much going on in this MV =D Dancing Geisha's are the highlight though ^^ Also, sales increased from her last single by around 1500! This hasn't happened in ages! What cute lyrics. "Is this a premonition of love Baby?" "CHUCHUCHU PIPIPI NONONON" ^^


Bad: I really can't think of anything =) 

Good: The song is lovely and much like 'My Days for You' will be in my head for ages! The guy in the video at times is good looking :3 Here's the english lyircs by Mei-chan (Incomplete).

6. Buono! 『初恋サイダー

Good: Vocals are great and the MV very well produced. If I was a young girl in Japan, Buono! would be my #1 Idol group. I don't know why their fan base is so small now o.o Airi's solo version is amazing btw. :3 

Bad: Miya's trousers should be tighter. They just look...bad.
