Top 20 Songs 2011

1. Kikkawa Yuu - Konna Atashi de Yokattara

Kikka praise has been rare for me. I've never seen her as anything special or even bothered to listen to her songs too much. (Kikkake wa YOU! was forgettable and Hapirapi sunrise was a good song that I just got tired of listening to eventually after months). I actually don't think I could ever not be in love with this song. It's that amazing. Maybe I've just caught the Kikka-bug and become strangely biased towards her, but better late than ever I guess. Disappointing sales(around 6,000) mean nothing to me. Well...of course they make me a little sad but it doesn't take any of the epicness away from the actually songs. Anyway, good song and good Music Video up until the green screened scenes. Easily the best single of the year.

2. AKB48 - Flying Get

AKB48 have sure had a fantastic year! Million sellers! Yay! This song is incredibly catchy and I often find myself humming it while walking down the road. Don't mistake the title for 'Flying ghetto' though XD Yay for Sasshiko, Juritan and Yuko! Acchan line whored again, but what can I say? She sings well and is reasonably cute. Can't complain too much since my favourite members are in the senbatsu. So many girls get nothing. Anyway, getting back to the song...there's not really much I can say. It's just a genuinely good song.

3. SKE48 - Pareo wa Emerald / Sumaireji - Shortcut

Catchy Jurina lead tune! W Mastui are second to none. I do wish there were more solo lines in the song though. It simply sounds like it should have more solo lines.

Shortcut is the best S/mileage single ever. It's on My H!P top 5 and I don't think that'll ever change.

4. Kiss Me Aishiteru - C-ute

Ahh ^^ Cute are getting sexier everyday. Chisato's lead is okay since I love everyone in C-ute. They're all so sisterly aren't they? :) This single is so cool. I originally thought It would be #1 on my ranking for the year forever hs but then the 3 songs above smacked me in the face x) The MV had the Onna no otoko no Lullaby Game walls...Watashi no Mirai no Danna-sama Television..Some people call the MV ' Recycled' but I can't see that at all. First words I thought when I heard the song and saw the MV simultaneously: "Tsunku, you've done it again' :D So what if the MVs are similar. Feel that electro beat!

5. Morning Musume - Yamete yo Sinbad!

Such a fun song. Lines for all! Shame Aika wasn't at Ai believe to sing her lines. I love the clown like feeling of the song. The sound affects make me giggle ^^

6. Mobekimasu - Busu ni Naranai Tetsugaku

When the Radio Rip was released we heard so many 'OMG REINA LEAD NOOO' s but why? She does a fantastic job. Reina was meant to be a lead vocal. She just was! She's a little nasal here but ignoring that perfect. Airi and Risako do their solo lines well. I just think this was a little early for Riho centering and getting double lines already. She sounds very nice with Airi, alhough I have to say that Gaki-Yuuka double lines were definitely my favourite.

7. Morning Musume - Motto Aishite hoshii no

I didn't really feel anything for this song until the Fantasy DX concert. Hearing it live just makes you feel the song more. It's really pretty and my favourite part is the slow chorus break in the middle. Ai and Reina's era of Morning Musume will surely be missed by me.

8. Mano Erina - My days for You + Seishun no Serande

I really couldn't listen to 'My days for you' song at first. When the radio version was released I listened to the first 30 seconds and it sounded so boring. A few months ago I bothered to listen to the whole song and I loved it. Once you hear the full chorus, (There's a snippet in the beginning) all of the song just melts into something really, really enjoyable :)

Seishun no serenade is just a really fun song. The lyrics are really uplifting. The shouting parts in the middle are really funny and I love Mano's 'Wahahaha' XD

9. Moumoon - Chu Chu

Moumoon are generally a win for me. Eye and Ear candy for all I think :) 'I wanna kiss chu'... The play on words is so sweet that this song always makes me smile. The music video is really fun too.

10. SNSD - The Boys

Ignoring the first minute of the music video (Falling petals and birds? wtf) The video is awesome. Tifanny may have on gotten rap parts, but everyone did great. It sound so american and catchy. The english version is really good, but I prefer the korean because the lyrics are weird. Rap parts are the best parts of the song + Sunny's lines which she does beautifully.
11. Perfume - Laser Beam

Techno-pop, Auto-tune and Synthesizers.  Yep, the artists/idols rarely sing live. Their songs are simply to be listened too and Live performances can only make them worse strangely. Anyway, this is a great song. Some of you might remember me dying to get Limited Edition for it's gorgeous cover. Sadly I didn't in the end. It was so expensive on ebay :( Sure this song is no 'Voice' 'Nee' 'Fushizen na girl' or 'Natural ni koishite' but it's still very good and Perfume are always lovely to listen to. The other song on this double A-side single was good too, but not as good.

12.  Berryz Koubou - Ai no Dangan

This is a good song. There's not much to add when it is just a good song. Berryz' singles this year have all been really good. The MV (Beside the outfits) are cheap and appalling. Like a cheap version of  SNSD's 'Bad Girl' with the motorcycles and guns. They were trying to pull a Kpop there.

13. Super Junior - Mr Simple

If I took away the hot dancing korean guys I'd still love this song. (Not as much as I love the guys though ;))

14. Boyfriend - Boyfriend, Don't touch my girl, I'll be There

Boyfriend have had a great debut year. 3 hit singles which have made them really famous. They're very different from SHINee no matter what anyone says.

Boyfriend (sounds weird starting a paragraph with this again) is a really fun song. 'I'm you're boyfriend and you're my girlfriend' Yes Please! All songs should sound like this! They're gorgeous! Don't touch my girl has the (kpop) best video ever. The song itself is just so...catchy. The chorus especially. Exactly the same can be sad for 'I'll be there'. They have the exact same feel and It's really hard to put into words...
15. Momoko Tsugunaga - Kia Ora Gracias Arigatou

Buono! have had quite a bad selling year. It's a shame. Partenza was a good album, but this was the only song I replayed continually for more than 3 hours on one rainy day ^^

16. Morning Musume - Give me love

Aichan high notes always send a shiver through my spine. I can't help but wonder how this song would have done if it had been her graduation single. Reina, Riho and Gaki do a good job too. There's a nice sayu line. An Aika line would have made it the perfect line sharing for a last Aichan single. Lines for all the senpais and the budding Ace-Rihorin.

17. SKE48 - 1! 2! 3! 4! Yoroshiku!

I shout when I sing this song. Juritan and Rena's lines are great. Plus Kuumin and Masana are great too. This song should be Japan's national anthem. It would fit very well ^^"1! 2! 3! 4! please! 5! 6! 7! 8! give me!the power to believe in fate1! 2! 3! 4! please!5! 6! 7! 8! right away...the power of affection" :)

18. Kyary Pamyu Pamyu - Tsukema Tsukeru

The not as addicting as Ponponpon 'Tsukema Tsukeru' blew me away. At first I thought it was silly (Title lit. Putting on fake eyelashes') But it really makes you think about doing such a thing like putting on Make up gives girls lots of confidence :) Go Kyary! +1 for randomness too  xD Dancing Lions, and Crisp packets on her dress.

19. C-ute - Aitai Lonely Christmas

Aitiai lonely christmas is a great song. I'll forever remember it as the Kyuukie's 'Love Namida Iro' :) The versus are nicer to listen to than to chorus for me. Airi sounds absolutely lovely.

20. S.mileage - Miniskirt Post Woman

Yuuka's last single is great. I really miss her, but this is just such a great single to leave with. The last line...'The story goes on' is taken by her :) Very fitting. Meimi's lines are okaaaaay, and the Kanyon lead works well. Yay for Takechan!

Happy Birthday Mitsui Aika!

Today is a very special day :] (In Japan...lol)

My Lovely Aika is....19 years old! \o/ Purple blog post for Aika support! I'm using large text because it's that special :)

Amazingly, Pyoco Pyoco Ultra was just uploaded to YouTube which is incredibly good timing in my opinion! Aika is incredibly cute in her lines and just splats awesomeness all over the MV. The song's about a girl who wants to achieve lots of things and I'm sure Aika is the girl they're singing about. She's just at that age! I can't post  the video because well...I don't know. It's not letting me.

I could easily write a post about the awesomeness, cuteness and brilliance  of Aika but today I wont. (I already have I think)

AI personally love Aika with the 6th gen ^^ She was closer to them and Aichan more then anyone else.

Click on the image to make it bigger :)

Aika really became a lot close to Aichan and the 6th gen during MDSK - Only You . At that time she was in so many Sayu and Reina blog posts it was awesome. She's slowly making her way back into blog pics xD And after her Fanclub tour (Today is the 2nd day) I hope she's able to become closer with the Kyuukies and I thiiiink (?) Juukies who should be attending to take part :D

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AIKA!

Monday 2 January 2012

Niigaki Risa is Graduating from Hello Project.

Gaki's graduating from H!P? I'm not sad, just irritated. If she couldn't graduate with Aichan, why the next concert tour to mess up the Jyuukies. Two graduation tours in a row is plain stupid. I love Gaki almost as much as I do Aichan. But her leaving with Aichan would have made the Suki na Senpai performance even more endearing. I still haven't watched it yet though. It would make me cry. I will though...When I get my DVD.

:( Couldn't the Jyuukie's have a normal concert tour? I was getting used to someone graduating every autumn :(
